Question 1

Can Jext cause a heart attack?

Accepted Answer

Rarely, adrenaline can provoke myocardial ischaemia in susceptible individuals, especially those with underlying heart disease. However, anaphylaxis itself can cause cardiovascular collapse, so the benefit far outweighs the risk.

Question 2

What should I do if I accidentally inject Jext into my finger?

Accepted Answer

Seek immediate medical help. The finger will become pale, cold, and numb due to vasoconstriction. Doctors may inject phentolamine to reverse this and restore blood flow.

Question 3

Are Jext side effects dangerous?

Accepted Answer

Most side effects (tremor, palpitations, headache) are expected and not dangerous – they indicate the drug is working. However, chest pain, severe hypertension, or irregular heartbeat require immediate attention.

Question 4

Can I take antihistamines after using Jext?

Accepted Answer

Yes, antihistamines are often given as additional treatment for anaphylaxis, but they do not replace adrenaline. Follow hospital advice – they may administer oral or IV antihistamines.

Question 5

Does Jext interact with food or alcohol?

Accepted Answer

No direct food interactions. Alcohol may worsen dizziness or low blood pressure, but during anaphylaxis you should not consume anything. Focus on emergency care.
