Question 1

How do I know when my Clenil Modulite inhaler is empty?

Accepted Answer

The dose counter on the side shows the number of puffs remaining. When the red mark appears (usually at 20), order a new inhaler. When it shows ‘0’, discard the device even if it still sprays.

Question 2

Can I use a spacer with Clenil Modulite?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A spacer (e.g., Volumatic) improves drug delivery to the lungs and reduces oropharyngeal deposition, especially for children or those using high doses. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Question 3

What should I do if I forget a dose?

Accepted Answer

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.

Question 4

Does Clenil Modulite cause weight gain?

Accepted Answer

At normal inhaled doses, weight gain is very unlikely. Systemic absorption is minimal. If you are on very high doses for prolonged periods, discuss any concerns with your doctor.

Question 5

Can I stop using Clenil Modulite if I feel better?

Accepted Answer

No. Clenil Modulite controls inflammation, preventing symptoms. Do not stop without consulting your doctor; doing so may cause your asthma to worsen. Always have a review before changing treatment.
