Question 1

How long do Otomize side effects typically last after stopping treatment?

Accepted Answer

Most mild side effects resolve within 1-3 days after stopping Otomize. Allergic reactions may take 3-10 days to fully clear. If side effects persist beyond expected timeframes or worsen after stopping, consult your healthcare provider.

Question 2

Can Otomize cause permanent hearing damage?

Accepted Answer

When used correctly with intact eardrums, permanent hearing damage is extremely rare. However, using Otomize with a perforated eardrum significantly increases ototoxicity risk. Always verify eardrum integrity and report any hearing changes immediately.

Question 3

What should I do if I experience blurred vision while using Otomize?

Accepted Answer

Stop using Otomize immediately and seek urgent medical advice. Blurred vision may indicate systemic absorption and requires prompt evaluation. Do not drive or operate machinery until vision clears and you've been assessed by a healthcare professional.

Question 4

Are there any food or drink restrictions while using Otomize?

Accepted Answer

No, there are no specific food or drink restrictions with Otomize. It can be used with or without food, and moderate alcohol consumption doesn't interact. However, maintaining general good health supports recovery from ear infections.
