Question 1

Can I shower or swim with Evorel patch on?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The patch is water‑resistant. You can bathe, shower, or swim normally. However, avoid scrubbing the area directly, and after swimming, gently pat the patch dry.

Question 2

What should I do if the patch falls off?

Accepted Answer

Apply a new patch immediately, but keep your original patch‑change days. If the patch falls off near the end of the wearing period, you may not need to replace it. Do not apply an extra patch to “catch up.”

Question 3

Can I use Evorel Conti if I still have periods?

Accepted Answer

Evorel Conti is for women who have not had a period for at least 12 months (postmenopausal). If you are perimenopausal, a sequential HRT regimen may be more suitable. Your doctor will advise.

Question 4

Why do I need to rotate application sites?

Accepted Answer

Rotating sites reduces the risk of skin irritation and ensures consistent absorption. Using the same area repeatedly can cause local redness, itching, or reduced adhesion.

Question 5

Can I cut the patch to adjust the dose?

Accepted Answer

No. Do not cut or damage the patch. The dose is designed for the whole patch; cutting may disrupt the controlled release and cause unpredictable hormone levels.
