How To Use Stud 100 Spray

Step-by-Step Usage Guide

Follow these steps exactly as described in the patient information leaflet to get the best results and avoid side effects.

1. Shake the canister well – This ensures the lidocaine is evenly mixed.
2. Hold the can about 5–10 cm away from your penis.
3. Spray 3 to 8 times onto the glans (head) and shaft. Start with 3 sprays and increase only if needed.
4. Rub the spray gently into the skin until it disappears. This helps absorption.
5. Wait 5 to 15 minutes for the numbing effect to develop.
6. Before intercourse, wash off the spray with warm water and mild soap, or put on a condom. This prevents transferring lidocaine to your partner.
7. Proceed with sexual activity – the effect lasts about 30–45 minutes.
8. Do not use more than once in 24 hours and never exceed 24 sprays in a day.

Who Should Use Stud 100?

Stud 100 is designed for men who experience premature ejaculation – meaning ejaculation that always or nearly always occurs within about one minute of penetration, and where the lack of control causes distress. It can be used by:

• Men with lifelong (primary) premature ejaculation.
• Men with acquired premature ejaculation due to anxiety or sensitivity.
• Men who have not found success with behavioural techniques alone.
• Men who are in good general health and have no contraindications.

Who Should NOT Use Stud 100 (Contraindications)

According to the PIL, do not use Stud 100 if:

Therefore, medical supervision is recommended.

Other precautions:

• If you experience dizziness, nervousness, or convulsions, stop use immediately and seek medical help – these could be signs of lidocaine toxicity.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not use on open wounds.
• If symptoms of premature ejaculation persist beyond 3 months of use, consult a doctor.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Information

The PIL states: “The use of STUD 100 is not recommended if your partner is pregnant. STUD 100 can transfer to your partner during intercourse.” Although lidocaine is not known to cause harm during pregnancy, it is best to avoid exposure. If your partner is breastfeeding, avoid transferring the spray to the breast area. Always wash off thoroughly or use a condom.

Can You Take Stud 100 with Food or Drink?

Stud 100 is a topical spray, not an oral medicine, so food does not affect its absorption. You can eat and drink normally before and after use. However, avoid consuming alcohol in large amounts while using Stud 100, as alcohol can increase the risk of dizziness and may affect your judgment. The PIL does not list any food interactions.
