Mohammed Sikandar

Mohammed Sikandar is a Clinical Pharmacist Independent Prescriber with extensive experience spanning primary care, urgent care, hospital, and community pharmacy. In his current roles within GP surgeries and with NHS 111, he specialises in clinical assessment, triage, and prescribing to optimise patient outcomes.

His distinguished career showcases a clear progression from locum pharmacist to contractor and superintendent, complemented by hospital pharmacy rotations and leadership positions such as managing Covid-19 vaccination programmes. This journey has honed his adaptability, leadership, and a profound commitment to lifelong learning. Sikandar is proficient in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applying both national and local guidelines to ensure safe and effective clinical practice.

His academic development is robust, featuring postgraduate qualifications in Independent Prescribing and Prescribing Studies from the University of Wolverhampton and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advancing Integrated Urgent Care Practice from the University of Derby. He is further enhancing his leadership and service improvement capabilities by studying PRINCE2 project management.
